This week we’re exploring the use of effects in sound design for creating and altering sounds for film and TV, games, radio or podcasts, character voice creation, synth patches, sample processing, or even live performances and music production.

It’s such a deep and broad area that we’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s possible – but we’ve had a lot of fun in the studio, and even made our first cat video. Here are some fresh tools to spark new ideas and help you dial in whatever sound you imagine.
