This happens in a number of instances, such as when you sign up for our services, or if you desire to receive marketing materials and information. Personally identifiable information that we may collect in such instances may include your full name, username, password, iLok ID, email address, address, telephone number, and other information that you decide to provide us with, or that you decide to include in your public profile.

Credit Card Information: When you make a purchase on our website, Soundtoys will ask for your credit card information in order to complete your order. This information is processed by Authorize.net, a 3rd party payment processing service that we use to handle credit card transactions (visit Authorize.net for more information about their own data policies). Soundtoys does not keep a record of your full credit card information, but your order record will include the last 4 digits of your card number for reference. This helps us with customer service matters such as refund requests.
Academic Pricing Verification Information: When purchasing a discounted Academic license of our software, we ask for proof of enrollment or employment at an educational institution, as well as a scanned image of a driver’s license or passport to verify identity. These documents are deleted immediately upon approval or denial of your request for academic pricing. Documents for pending requests are deleted after 3 weeks.
Customer Support Communications: If you have emailed us for customer support, or sent a support request through the form on our website, we will keep a record of your communication with us so that we can help you with your support request.
Your Account: If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Soundtoys reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.
